Associate
John joined the firm in April 2010 and is a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in both the Chartered Accounting field and the Corporate environment.
In recent years John has spent considerable time working with various small and medium sized entities developing business structures that both manage risk and provide tax efficiencies.
John's responsibilities will encompass preparation of clients’ financial statements, and the provision of general business advice to clients as and when appropriate to assist clients with improving their business performance and profitability.
John is passionate and enthusiastic about providing business advice and seeing good businesses do well as a result. He is very committed to the value of systems and the importance of a consistent product or service being delivered to the customers every time. Accordingly he often brings a new perspective to the table with this focus.
He is a congenial person who will always try to provide assistance to anyone who has a need for his skills.
John is married with three adult children. He has a lifestyle block in Te Puna, and he enjoys sport, music and family time in his spare time.

Sarah Smith
Executive Assistant
Sarah joined the team in March 2008. Sarah has had over ten years experience in Business and General Administration, four years of which were high level Executive support in corporate organisations, where client focus was key.
Sarah provides key support to Anthony Harris with specific focus on Advisory clients, utilising her business and customer relationship skills to ensure clients experience a first-rate service.
Sarah previously held roles with Fonterra in Auckland as Executive Assistant to the General Management team and Empower in Auckland, as Executive Assistant to the CEO.
She is currently studying towards her NZ Diploma in Business.
Sarah has two children and enjoys spending time with her family, reading and drawing in her spare time.

Chris Rogers
Insolvency Administrator
Chris joined the team in October 2007. His career began in banking and advanced to senior executive positions with Trust Bank Bay of Plenty. He had management roles at branch level, auditing, residential lending and a significant time as strategic planner helping the bank adapt to a newly deregulated economy.
Over a twenty year period he has owned several businesses in sectors including floriculture, small business advice and finance broking.
Chris mainly supports Anthony in managing and conducting insolvency assignments, and also assists with internal compliance and various client administration requirements.
Chris is married with adult children and has a large extended family. Over the years Chris has had involvement in a wide range of sports and outdoor adventures.

Katrina Shores
Accountant
Katrina joined the team at the end of June 2010. She has over 7 years experience in the Accounting Field and has recently completed her NZ Diploma in Business majoring in Accounting which she has studied part time while working. Her key ambition is to eventually go on and complete her degree.
Katrina provides key support to John in completing client accounting and tax requirements.
Katrina is married with two preschool boys. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and going to the gym.

Liz Turner
Assistant
Liz is the newest member of the Anthony Harris team. She has a comprehensive Sales and Marketing background with a strong focus on customer service.
Liz provides key support to the team and ensures the smooth functioning of the office. Her aim is to make sure that she provides the best support possible so that key personnel in the office are able to work to their optimum.
She is married with adult children and enjoys walking, cooking and gardening.
